Discover yourself:

your story, your feelings, your thoughts, your patterns, your “why”

  • Self-awareness is the starting point. Often times, particular issues are exacerbated by lack of awareness and congruence (i.e. living "in tune" with who you really are). You can gain deeper understanding of yourself and move beyond "wearing masks” or “playing the role(s),” and live a life that is meaningful and in sync with who are you meant to be.

  • Do certain feelings or thoughts seem to stay in your driver’s seat? Or, do you keep them quiet and hidden, like a box tucked on the shelf of a closet? Does it seem like your stuck listening to the same story about yourself and the world? Do you struggle to open up about or hold back what you’re thinking?

Together, we can help you become more attuned to the emotional landscape within and the rooted beliefs shaping it.

Like the light indicators on the dashboard of our vehicles, our feelings and thoughts signify to us something needs attention to keep us running smoothly. But, how we respond to the signals will determine the health of the car. In therapy, we seek to increase your awareness of these “signals” and equip you with strategies to engage your thoughts and feelings in beneficial ways.

  • There’s an axiom, “hurt people, hurt people.”

Because we are all imperfect it is inevitable that our pain will “spill” out on those around us, or vice versa. Sometimes, the difficult person is on the other side of the table. Sometimes, the difficult person is us.

There are no miracle methods for being in relationships. But, there are ways to strengthen our connections. We’ll work together and equip you with the tools needed to enhance, repair, or restore those connections most important to you - or learn boundaries necessary for your wellbeing.
